Meet Eliza

Marissa & Trent were kindly given a photography voucher from some close friends during their pregnancy so they could have baby shots taken when the time  was ready. So 6 months down the track I had the pleasure in capturing Eliza. When I got there she was just waking up and I had forgotten how lovely little babies are when they just wake up - very alert, quiet, smiley & snuggly. She was divine.
For the next hour or so we set about capturing the 3 of them around the house. Little Eliza was pretty pooped by the end of it but we caught her being her gorgeous little self.
And I hope that every year she's photographed on her beautiful chair so eventually after 21 years they have a collection of shots showing her growth! I LOVE that chair!
Thanks Marissa & Trent & it was lovely to meet you and Eliza.

Queenie

2 weeks ago I met sweet little Queenie and her mum Jocelyn. Up in the cool air of Aldgate  I literally chased Queenie around while she looked at anything and everything that caught her eye. At 18 months old she is full of energy and it certainly reminded me of how busy a toddler can be! With her Grandparents also there it was fabulous to capture the 4 of them.

Magnolia's

We travelled up into the Adelaide Hills on the weekend to celebrate Father's Day. After lunch at the Aldgate Pump hotel we went to the Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens. It turned out to be the most perfect day, weatherwise, since it was predicted to rain. Two years ago we went up and did the same thing - celebrated Father's Day lunch in Aldgate, followed by the gardens, which is when we discovered the amazing Magnolia hill! Seriously divine! I could have stayed and taken more photos of the flowers all afternoon. There are all types of magnolia, which are my most favourite flower! I really want to put one in the garden but am not sure how it would cope in the heat of the beachside, I still might try anyway!

As usual I had my beautiful little models on hand and ready to participate in some shots for me. A fun day out for us all!

It's been over 4 years now since I began capturing the Drury family from their wedding, pregnancies, christenings and now two gorgeous girls. Our sessions are always a delight and full of energy. Thanks for having me back again amidst all the madness and busy'ness of our lives!

Getting together at the beach

Even for a brisk winter morning the light was perfect to capture the Bandiera family. I am also in love with the wintery trees at the moment - all bare with no leaves, so pretty!

Sweet Family

Kylie & Shane wanted to capture their usual trips to the beach. It turned out to be rather windy but Emily still thought it was fabulous!
