Spring to it
It's starting to look a lot like spring! The blossom is just coming out and I am so excited to be doing mini sessions for the next 2 weeks. If you are interested drop me a line to book in your spot.

Birth Notice
I was inspired by something on Pinterest recently and when at my last photo shoot of 4 week old Lucca I took this shot.

Gone Fishing
Catching up with Bek, Graeme and sweet little Xander was so great. I captured Bek & Graeme's wedding around 4 years ago and have since photographed a few more family members of theirs.
Little Xander was simply the sweetest little honey! He still wasn't walking which made the shoot nice and easy, since I wasn't having to chase him around the park. And smile - boy did he know how to do that. He didn't stop the whole time we did the shoot. Except at the end and I think at that point he was excused!
I was so excited when Graeme mentioned he wanted to do a mock fishing shot as it's something he wants to do with Xander more as he gets older. We were down near the Onkaparinga River which was the perfect spot for a fishing shot. Super sweet.
I can't wait to capture this little family again down the track.

Baylee & Martin's Wedding
I have just realised that I never posted photos from Baylee & Martin's wedding from December last year. It was such a divine day. We were worried with the rain and since the wedding was up in Stirling it seemed like it was going to happen - but just as Baylee walked down the aisle it stopped drizzling and it was perfect!
The ceremony was at Wairoa, a gorgeous property if you haven't seen it and want something different for your wedding it's worth checking out. There is an old house that provides ample photographic opportunities and the gardens do as well. My favourite spot was the row of hydrangeas that added that gorgeous pop of colour and made the photos (well in my opinion!).
We travelled back down to North Terrace in the city as their reception was at the Mortlock Library (which was rather dark - for me being a natural light photographer I had a panic! But it was fine!). A quick shoot along the Adelaide Uni grounds and Art Gallery, then lastly, behind the Library on the Romeo and Juliet stairs, as Baylee called them!
It was a great day and every bit of detail Baylee and Martin arranged looked awesome! I loved it how one of their friends ran around taking polaroids of everyone! I bet there were some classic shots in that collection!

Family Updates
It's been way too long since I have last posted on here! I will attempt to update my blog more often. I really want to upgrade my blog so it is cleaner and neater! This one drives me nuts. But it will have to wait until I make some other necessary purchases!
I am going to attempt to post every couple of days to get up to speed on my recent work.
Both of these family shoots took place outdoors at two great locations - the first being Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens and the second down at Deep Creek Conservation Park where the family were celebrating their parent's 30th Wedding Anniversary! Both really beautiful locations and lovely families too!

Beautiful baby bump
I've been a bit quiet on my blog here lately! I simply haven't had time to update my blog and am hoping once I get through this busy wedding season I will have time to post some more of my photo shoots from last year.
However, I couldn't resist putting this wonderful & beautiful shoot of Sonya & Will who are expecting their baby any day now. We did the photos at their house on an amazing summer night and actually it was the night that the Victorian fire smoke started to blow into Adelaide so the night became very hazy and a little surreal (& scary too! You couldn't even see the sun!). Luckily we got the shoot in before the darkness and I was delighted with the end results.
